Default 2008 GS 460 - Electrical Issues

Hi everyone,

Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

I have a 2008 GS460 that I do not use often. It is now having electrical issues and I am not sure where to start with that.

Below are the issues, not sure if they are related or two separate.

I was driving the car 2-3 weeks ago and when I was almost to my home it started to overheat. I let it cool off rest of the day and then when I checked it, the issue was that the radiator fans were not turning on. I did not have tie to troubleshoot at that time, but everything else seemed fine.

Yesterday I tried to look into it more, but when I got into the car I was not able to start it. No response at all when pressing start button, nothing comes up on the dash. I first figured the battery died so I charged it overnight and tried again this morning. Still nothing at all. I also changed the keyfob battery just in case and I tried to put in a known good 12V battery from another car.

At this point I noticed several other things are not working. Such as:

- Dome lights
- Power seats
- Start Button
- Brake Lights
- Alert dinging sound when doors are open

There are some things that still do work

- Headlights (both low and high beam)
- Emergency flashers (front, rear and side mirrors all work)
- Interior lights on doors

I figured the interior electrical issues are all connected to a single module/fuse, but not sure which one.

I feel like radiator fan is a separate issue, but I wanted to mention it in case it was related.

Would anyone have any advice on where to start?

Thank you

In case anyone see this post and has same issues on a GS460/350

The main fusible link was burned out. Part to replace was about $100 and took me about 2 hours to replace. Pro could probably do it in an hour or less.

Here is a video that was great help

Thanks

Don't know if you fixed it by now but what you mentioned is tied to these 2 fuses. If they did blow, why they blew is another question.
