Car won’t start. Already have replaced fuel pressure sensor and nothing. Also the brake is very hard to press and the car shifts into gear without having to press brake. Also notice that message that used to appear that says “press brake to start car” does not come up anymore. I’m looking now to replace the brake light switch. Anything else that I might be missing?

Is your key fob working properly?

 

Yes it appears to be. I can lock and unlock car with no issues. Pop the trunk and even set off alarm

 

does the 2007 have a key or is it push-button start?

 

it is a push button start.

 

does the light on it turn green when the fob is in the car?

 

the light is red.

 

 

thank you I’m going to replace the battery in the fob. Is there a way for me to reset my alarm? I read something somewhere else that said start, turn off and then open the door and close it 3 times. Not sure how legit that advice is

 

I don’t know much about the security system or how to reset it- someone on here might tho. skur and Oro are two people on here who are pretty knowledgeable about these cars.

car battery is fine. Reading almost every 12.8 volts. And all of my lights, horn, power everything works

 

cool! Google says that unhooking the battery for 15 minutes or so should reset the alarm system.

 

Hi 👋 I'm having this problem to I'm considering changing my crank sensor check that too and all ways use oem parts

 

have you tried replacing the battery? My battery says it’s good however I did give someone a jump Tuesday morning and I couldn’t start afterwards. Could have drained my battery

 

Update. Had my fiance jump the car and it did crank and turn on but then immediately dies if I don’t give it gas.
