So I can generally feel the friction like sensation under the floor in the front of the car, 06 AWD. It really is noticeable at 35mph but as the car rides around a bit, it can be felt at speeds lower that 5mps. I've changed the rotors, hub on passenger side, the drivers identified was good.

While I was changing the ball joints I noticed the axel had some play in it near the housing. Could this be what's causing the noise/unsmoothness? I tried.to upload a video from my android, but it say the file is incompatible.




This is the area that has the play in it. It moves north, south, east ect..and fowas and backward. Is this what causing the bearing like feeling? If so what parts will need to be replaced?
