Engine Temperature Sensor
Hello Fellow Enthusiasts,
My 2008 GS 460 has been sitting for two months now since the summer out here near Palm Springs was so hot. It has cooled down so I am trying to get the GS running properly again. I drove it (mid summer) , it was 110 degrees F. At ten MPH the temp gauge needle dropped down passed "C" and the engine stalled. I waited ten minutes and it started up. Last week when I stated it, the check VSC light lit up. A friend checked it and a code came up related to the engine coolant temp sensor. I am waiting for him to text me the exact code. Investigating more...
Have any of you heard of or experience with this?
Thanks.
