Please help!
I have a 07 awd 3gs with 160k miles. I'm experiencing a roughness while driving over 60mph. It's felt through the cabin, gas peddle and steering wheel especially. It's not a vibration or shake. The best way I can describe it is driving over gravel. I've replaced countless parts including all breaks rotors, calipers, struts shocks, motor mounts, rims, tires, and various other suspension parts. The suspension is basically new. I've been to several mechanics including the lexus dealership and they all can't find or fix the problem. What should I be looking at? Thanks!
I mean, just a guess, but how much play do your front and rear CV axels have? if the CV joint is worn it'll do what you describe. The CV axels should be able to move inward/outward (along the shaft, by just a little jiggle, like 1/32 of an inch) but no up/down/side to side (perpendicular to shaft).

Does it happen every single time you drive over 60mph? Can you video record the car shaking?
Something you can try to do, is lift all four wheels off the ground and put 4 jack stands. Start the car and put it in D and go past 60mph while spinning the wheels in the air. Have someone with a flash light look the front end, the wheels, the cv axles see if anything is jumping around. Try to avoid what you were doing, and throw parts at it in hopes of a fix. All this will do is cost you money!
I would first suggest the wheels, and or the front tires. What you can do is take the car to an alignment shop and with your flashlight ask to see the wheel being spun on the balancer. You want to look at the inside of the barrel for any wobbles or bends. You want to make sure the wheels and the tread of the tires is spinning smooth and straight.

but I'll be taking notes of everything you've said, thanks!
Maybe go to a tire shop and ask them to inspect the running gear for vibrations. Ask them to lift the vehicle off the ground, because it is awd, you have to raise all four wheels. With the car on the lift, ask one of the tech to help you look for any vibrations while the vehicle is spining on the lift and driving over 60mph.
