Default How to remove front driver seat?

Does anyone know how to remove the front driver seat? I'm trying to replace the seat belt buckle as it is faded beyond repair. Or, can the buckle be removed without removing the seat, including accessing the wiring etc?

Instead of removing the seat buckle to replace just fading plastic. Why not put a little heat on it with a lighter and see if you can restore the plastic on it.

Removing the seat is pretty straight forward, pop the caps off the seat mounting points. Remove the 4 bolts on each side, imo best to leave the battery plugged in, incase you need to adjust the seat to reach bolts. Then simply unplug the harness, unplug the abs. Remove the seat of of the car

Unfortunately I tried that and the lighter didn't do anything, in fact it actually slightly melted the red plastic. Hence the reason why I need to replace the buckle. Thanks for the directions.

There are 4 bolts on the floor, 1 bolt to remove the belt from the seat.

Have you tried changing the seat belt shoulder anchor height to achieve some slack in the belt? This may not help if you normally have the adjustment at the lowest setting (or if your particular NX lacks this feature).
