Default A760E question

Would an A760E from a 2013 GS350 (rwd) fit and work with a 2009 GS350 (rwd)? They appear identical but they have different serial numbers??? See photos please.

Have to match part numbers (include any change-ups) otherwise you could end up with a show stopper incompatibility. Only people that will know for sure are the ones that have swapped specific units.

Electrical. Incompatible internals. And probably other things I have not thought of. You could have success or the transmission will never shift properly. Why gamble get a compatible unit not like this transmission is rare.

A site like www.car-part.com helps show you what years or even models interchange.

Crankshaft seal 90311-A0027 get this at a dealer it is not worth messing around if this seal leaks you're doing the job twice. If you don't see any evidence of a leak at the torque converter then leave the seal alone. Make sure you follow the factory service manual to a T especially when bolting up and torquing the flex plate.

I hope the transmission shipped with the torque converter secured.

Make sure you install it correctly if you don't you'll crush the transmission oil pump on assembly to engine.
