Going to be replacing the front shocks on the GS460 and already ordered the KYB with adaptive control from rockauto.com. Initially I wasn't planning on replacing the strut mounts, but since I'm going to be there anyways, might as well replace those too. Rockauto only has KYB SM5723 "strut mounts except adaptive control suspencsion". Does anyone know where I can find the ones suitable for adaptive control suspension?

myLparts will have them, but they are OEM and more expensive. Did you order your struts previously? I just looked, and Rockauto doesn't show them for adaptive control right now.

 

I did. You have to look under the GS350. If you look under the GS460, they dont show up. I believe they are the same, no idea why they don't list them under the GS460. My local Lexus dealer it's showing the strut mounts for $132, which is more expensive than what I paid for each strut. Will call them up to see if they have them in stock and go from there.

Can you verify that the front struts you got from rock auto are indeed for AVS? I was looking at them, and found that they list them under the gs350 parts listing as being for variable suspension, and the struts they show under the gs460 listing say without AVS, but the part numbers for both are the same.

EDIT: Rockauto couldn't give me a definitive answer, but I heard back from KYB, and they are indeed for variable suspension on both models.
