Possible cause and solution to audio off leading to radio not working

 

Check your amplifier in your passenger trunk area. Make sure water has not intruded.

 

If your amplifier has been compromised by water, you might be lucky and have an electronics rebuilder nearby that could take a look and repair damaged components. The fix for the water intrusion usually is to replace the flap-style quarter panel pressure vents. You can find knock-offs on Amazon for about $20/side or buy from Toyota / Lexus for $35-$40/side.
