Anyone here know what aftermarket android HU can use the oe back up camera? Looking to upgrade my HU but most android unit doesn’t support oe back up camera, help and suggestions appreciated

 

There are none you can do what I did to keep the oem camera

 

Get the Grom vline. It’s android base and the best part is that it keeps everything stock so yes you can still use backup camera. You get to have all sorts of things like: android auto, apple carplay, youtube, & other apps. Just put mine in like two weeks ago. Check it out

 

I want to but I have a gen4 infotainment which have the low pixel in it, I don’t know will it worth it if I go with grom or should change the whole unit

 

I just got a head unit and started installing it today for my 2008 GS 350. It's a similar but different unit than the ones I've been seeing on the forum. Even still, if I splice the RCA onto pins 27 and 28 of the K47 plug and the 6v that I'm stepping down from the cigarette lighter to pins 13 and 14, it should work on any head unit, right?
