The dealership says they won’t register the TCU to the GS460.. Unfortunately I don’t have a Toyota Tech Stream or I’d do it

Well it doesn't need to be done, its just plug and play, like we've been saying. I did mine in my garage and I have no access to Techstream.

It helped some in the mid range and top. Off the line feels the same. But it sounds better than the typical secondary cat delete and mufflers. Or secondary and resonator delete. It sounds less like a truck and more like a performance car in my opinion.

Anyone tried racing fuel in their GS460?

Not a good reason to try as the timing can only advance so much without a tune. Though it could be worth you resetting the car and running good quality 93 through it.

The car runs on 91. I just like 93 to help reset timing. As these cars can suffer the same timing fate as the ISF's. Rr-racing had a writeup on it if you go over there. But you can reset it and just toss in a good brand of octane booster and good 91 (no walmart, kroger,Costco, or Sam's aren't good 91). She should pick up a bit. And hopefully maintain that once you go back to good straight 91.

Did you guys have to get extensions for the oxygen sensors when you installed the X force exhaust and headers on the GS460?

I heard you need to get longer vacuum lines for the ISF Injen CAI on this GS460. Does anyone have experience with this?

Yes, you will either need extensions, or you can have someone just reweld the bungs, honestly about the same headache either way you go since the seats need to be removed for extensions.

Yes, or you can delete them, which is better for reliability.

Because they allow unfiltered crankcase air back into the intake.

For now I’m going to keep the original cats on the headers and run the ISF X Force cat back, Injen CAI, ISF TCU & Loi’s custom tune.

hopefully the combination of all those together will make it nicer to drive with more pull and better sound. I know the cats off the headers muffle the sound a bit but I Also think the addition of a true X pipe will bring some more sound out of the engine since the original set up is a wishbone off the headers and that kills the sound since it goes to one pipe then splits to 2 mufflers

Will a used TCU from an ISF give me problems or will it be plug and play?
