remove chrome molding

Default remove chrome molding

has anyone tried taking off there chrome molding on there car? for both sets, there is one trim around the bottom of the car and the ones around the window frame. is it safe to do or removable? or it cant be done?

A couple of folks on the forum have blacked it out using either paint or blackout tape. Don't know I've read that anyone has removed it entirely.

I'll find a couple of posts in a sec.

Personally, I think the chrome trim makes the GS look classy, sporty, and rather elegant. I would keep the stock trim (esp. the lower trim around the bumper and lower door), as removal/painting of it makes it look a bit more plebeian. But then again, to each his own.
