Default Replaced knock sensor now car doesn’t stay running!

Hello CL, I have a 2004 gs430 and recently replaced a knock sensor which required taking out the entire manifold. When I put everything back together the car would start, idle for a few seconds then die repeatedly. I am questioning if it’s the variable valve timing or something of that nature because it sounds like the car isn’t getting enough gas to stay running. Any tips or answers on what could be causing this problem are greatly appreciated. Me and my pops have been stumped for weeks now. Please and thanks.
