Default Front End suspension/steering

Have an 01 GS300 that just turned 107k, new rotors and pads 2k ago, now I have a creaking noise on acceleration and breaking and some turning on the right front. Was hoping to find a good rebuild kit with bushings, lower control arms were replaced around 95k, steering is what I would describe as a “wanderer” and wondered if anyone had any success suggestions. First time here, appreciate any help.

Many possibilities. If you are trying to shotgun the issue, RockAuto has a lot of replacement parts. Look into Figs Engineering for performance packages.

Sounds like a ball joint problem

I have spent a lot of money with this suspension on the over 100,000 miles I put on the GS. In my experience, the number one thing causing wandering is definitely alignment and tires. However if your tie rods or control arm bushings are bad it will only make the issue worse, especially over crowned roads, it will follow the grooves. Is it wandering on a flat surface or only at certain speeds and roads?

The upper ball joint is on the end of the front upper control arm (FUCA), and it is not replaceable. The whole FUCA must be replaced, but they are not that expensive. Left FUCA 48630-39055 , Right FUCA 48610-39085.
The front lower ball joint is mounted to a small assembly, separate from the lower control arm, and is somewhat easy to replace. Left 43340-39415, Right 43330-39535 (1999+).
The third ball joint on the front end is found on the end of the steering link. Must align the car after replacing. Left 45470-59015, Right 45460-59015.
Also check the anti-sway bar mounts, brake rotor bolts, upper strut mount nuts, steering rack bushings, transmission mounts.
