My parts guy can get me the new speed cluster (with the chrome rings) and with new connectors really cheap , but i want to remove my existing speed cluster and check if the connectors are really compatible before getting it.

Does anyone know how to remove the existing speed cluster without damaging it?

To remove the cluster just grab at the top on the sides and pull down. Pops right out, of course you need to lower the steering wheel first, but real simple and not hard at all. BTW it's all plug and play, connectors work just fine, great inexpensive mod. Hope that helps?

hope he threw in a turn signal set. there different on the 98-2000 models. new signal set. i found out the hard way, bout an extra 100 bones..lol
