Hard Drive Nav Update
Does anyone know what is the latest nav update version for those with the hard disk system? And, how much do dealers charge now to update the drive?

they should be up to date even til today, maybe some 02' update.
Last time I checked (almost 2 years ago) it's like 300 dollars. They swap out your old HD for a new, reloaded HD. But it's just a re-installed old HD from previous NAV swap guy.

03 update should be out this month, or already came out. I asked Lexus a few months back, they told me Sep/Oct time frame is when the update HD come out for this year.

I think mine is from sometime in 2001. I will double check it later.
I want to get the most recent one but my local lexus service department wants $500 for the DVD and mine is the HDD based one.

Sorry, I didn't realize one was paying for the software license when updating NAV versions.

175.00
Cost me 175.00 for the update. Keep in mind that the drive is a standard 2gb laptop 12mm(or 9.5, I forgot) hard drive.
