I have a 1999 Lexus gs400
Can I use a Lexus gs300 fuel pump assembly unit or is there other Lexus pump units there will fit, I need the entire unit I believe mine is busted

 

There are plenty of options on eBay, that are for a gs300. Used and new, I would guess the hanger is identical in the 3 big Lexus from this generation. LS/GS/SC, when mine needed replaced, I was able to get a Bosch pump from only $25 and it swapped in place perfectly where the original was. U could probably grab a complete assembly for minimal cost from a pull it yourself style wrecking yard.
How come it’s becoming suspect in your eyes?

I don’t know if my ‘99 GS400 uses the exact same pump as your ‘05 GS300, when I punched in the specifics for your car, this was the least expensive Bosch that came up. So…. It’s been 3 years since I did this job and haven’t had any issues with it. So even though it was inexpensive, it does the job asked of it.
