I have a GS400 with HID headlights, both of which are still working fine. I need to replace the bulbs in the two smaller inner front lamps, and I'm having a dickens of a time trying to find a bulb that has either matching or near-color temp to the HID's. Sylvania incandescents are yellow and look ridiculous. Made a couple of passes at different LED's, but can't find anything reliable and/or that lasts very long. Any suggestions on a particular brand/bulb/LED you have had success with? Thank you in advance for any advice.

I have the same "problem" as I think most GS owners that have a sense of colour do.
BUT I haven't found any good parts here in Sweden, actually have none of the working right now, which makes the car look better, but need to put them in for inspection due in September.
Are you referring to the high beams that use a 9005 halogen? Or the 916 bulb mounted in the perimeter of the reflector? It can be difficult to match the daytime running lights to the HID beams. They reduced the voltage going to the high beams down to 6v and it operates as the DRL is certain years and markets. I could not find anyway to duplicate the color using 6v. So I installed a set of LEDs to replace the halogen high beams and then found a 6k 914 LED for the other bulb in the inner lights. Generally OEM color temp would 5k-6k you'll need to determine what color temp you have so I can get the correct led. Hopefully this was helpful. Not positive what set up you have. I replaced the yellow capsules with clear and then added a set of Xenon bulbs to the fogs, amd just found an ice blue 914 for the marker light in the inner housing. It’s actually pretty inexpensive and easy to install and it gives u the widest choice of color temps if you want the most choices. One of the next modifications I am going to do is the quad projector setup. A set of Evo 3” Bixenon in the outlets and some 2.5” D2S mini 5.0 in the inner spot and then a set of the Panamera 2.0 LED switchback centric rings! It’s unbeatable for focused and powerful lighting while looking awesome even when the car is parked. I just need a rich girlfriend to support these little expenditures
Yes I do, and yes I understand your frustration with it. I had a girlfriend with small hands for a long time , and she was pretty good at taking care of anything in that side. It seems like the most difficult bulb to change on that side was the main headlight beam.
Yes, the inners, as shown in the photo arrows "ungern" posted below. When you wrote "914 LED", did you mean 194 LED?

Late to the dance here , and hoping you get this I'm just now looking at changing the headlights , inner lights , turn signal lights , all taillights , etc..... on my 99 GS400 to LED .
Assuming you get this , would you be able to provide a list of the lights [ brand , model , part number , etc ..... ] you used for your Lexus ?
