How long are the starters lasting?

 

Mine was about 120k each time

 

You should expect 100,000 mi out of a OEM. But really anything can happen with electrical equipment. Some will go much longer, some wont even make it to 100,000 mi. Same goes for the alternator. There is no mileage you can take a stab at being a good time to replace. It's just one of those things you replace when it goes out.
