Default Rear wing brake light bulbs - how to replace?

Anyone ever replace the bulbs on the factory wing?
Mine are not working and I’m sure the bulbs are old but I don’t see a way to open “the case” they’re enclosed in.

I took my wing off but isn’t there 2 screws holding the light bar in?

That's correct...the factory wing 3rd brake light is a cluster of LEDs, not individual bulbs which can be changed.

Yea, I think I might just open it to see. Maybe I can just solder in a new led strip. Nothing to loose.

How is buying making a custom LED strip, damaging the housing to open it, custom wiring in the LED strip, resealing the housing somehow, all to HOPE it works, easier or cheaper than just buying a new unit?
