Yeah but the LS just got its face lift and if PM is right it will be replaced late next year. The GS has been widely rumored to be out earlier in 04 as an 05 but still very little about it. Maybe PM got it wrong and that is the next GS but that is a big boo boo. If you want to see the picture they ran, Daddy-O has posted it on the LS board.

I hope that is the next LS. That car looks awesome. Hopefully, the next GS will look just as good.

Toyota isn't sitting still with the hybrid. It already has announced a hybrid version of the new Lexus RX 330, to be called the RX 400H, which is due next year as a 2005 model. And the Japanese automaker is talking about several more hybrids for the Toyota division, including a gas-electric version of the Highlander crossover sport utility.

I wouldnt call it options persay...It seems like Lexus sells like 2-3 different packages for each car that encompass many items. Most Lexi seem to be comparably loaded.

BMW and MB on the other hand seem to have EVERY luxury item a la-carte. By adding all the options the price jumps like 7-8 grand. It also seems like you can just as easily get a stripped down model of a car as getting a loaded one. I see a lot of 3-series guys on bimmerworld with leatherette...What is up with that? Pleather on a luxury car!!!

1. The new Lexus models offer just as many options as German counterparts and are no longer cheaper loaded. That means people are buying Lexus cause it is BETTER.
