Accident need help
damn bro..that sucks! hate to see your car in that shape...
i wouldn't worry too much about the other party... that's why you have
full coverage...your insurance will take care of your car and they will
be the one to go after the car rentals insurance... all you need to do
if pay your deductible... good luck.. hope you get it settled quick

Luckily everyone is ok in your car. I know it hurts to see your ride wounded. I've been there many times before. Don't worry, insurance should prevail and you car will get fixed. Remember to get a rental equivalent to your car or at least cash out on loss of use.
Wow.....that's about at least $7000~$8000 repair job if you replace every part brand new from dealer. File a claim with your insurance and use your full coverage.......Your insurance won't go up but you'll need to pay deductible(but most of the body shop will waive your deductible for you.....well, at least we do

What a year for Lexus! Got mine wreck on too long ago ( in June) same deal like your Lex!
Thank God, most important, EVERYONE in the car is ok! From my Accident I can tell you that it will be a $7K - $8K. Must say, you have to call and get the police report, MUST GET IT! Call your insurance and either bring your Lex to the Approved Shop or wait for the adjuster to come to your house and give you a write up. Talk to the body shop to waive your deductible or else you will bring it to somewhere else to get it done. Don't worry if the adjuster comes up with just a little bit of money to repair the damage, the body shop can always send it back and get a "Supplimental", extra fund, to cover ALL cost to put your car back together.
Here is the cost I think will be involved in fixing your Lex:
Quarter Panel: $600
Rt Rear Door: $900
Bumper: $500
Door Handle: $150
Trunk Deck: $????
Taillight: $300
Mirror: $300
Hmmmm Rocker Panel (sideskirt) : $400
Gliding Panel: $200
Trims... I don't known... I can't think any more....
But that's why we have insurance, or "Insure****", for when **** like this happens!
Make sure you talk to the bodyshop painter, tell him you expect perfect pain match, no "orange peel", all molding put back in well fitting, door much shut. Also look out for "fisheyes" when you get it back, no Burnmark from over puffing.... the list go on brother. It's a pain! Look for a rental car for at least 3-4 weeks. You dno't wanna rush the shop! I got my car back last weekend.... Will have to bring it back for some minor imperfection.
Ask to see if the bodyshop would push and body up your quarter panel instead of CUT IT OUT and replace a new piece which will weaken the frame/structural overall of the vehicle also the originality of your ride.
If you need to talk more, PM me.... I AM SOOOOO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS MAN!

Dude,
Sorry about your car, but glad you are ok. The situation with the rental car is as follows:
The rental car company is not liable. The person who rented the car and is named on the rental contract is responsible. If that person bought LDW or additional coverage, he/she is still responsible because he/she allowed the car to be used by an unlicensed and unauthorized driver (this means the fact that the 18 year old would be operating the car was not declared to the rental car company).
I would recommend that you call the police or perhaps an attorney. You can also talk to your insurance agent about what happened and ask for advice. Your rates will not increase if you talk to your agent about the accident. Rate increases only occur after a claim is filed.
In order for this to be resolved ideally, you will ultimately need to contact the rental car company and find out who rented the vehicle and is liable.
