Default Aftermarket Taillights

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE, I am looking for some aftermarket taillights for the GS. The one I'm looking for has the L design for the LEDS (LIKE THE NEW LEXUS MODELS), can someone tell me where to find them?

If you're having trouble finding a pair here's one that's relatively expensive but the connectors are snipped.

I've seen a couple various styles from people. You'll have the best luck contacting someone who does one-offs/retrofits or keep a lookout for instagram vendors like Alphaman19 pointed out.

This guy doesn't specifically sell GS parts but has some nice parts that come in from time to time, keep a look out.

Japan Parts Service is the way to go. I purchased mine from them about 4 years ago and they’re still working perfectly. Also at the time the cost was a lot more I paid $795 air shipped from Japan so seeing them go for $595 is a bargain. They definitely stand out when on and give the rear a more modern look. Good luck on purchasing a set you won’t be disappointed.

Wow. I was curious about what they would look like on the car but that has me sold. I might buy those before OP does. Must. resist. buying. goodies.

Thanks that's them, I guess that's the same car I've seen them on...So here's another question, the headlights, did they ever make an OEM glass non hid ones?

thats actually a very good question I’ve personally never been asked. I’m not sure I’ll have to do some research or hoping someone else that knows the answer can chime in.

Would very-much prefer if the GS4 has glass headlights... our '96 RAV4 does, and they look like they day they were installed at the factory.

As per the taillights, personal opinion is... the '00+ look much better then the '98-'99, and are enough of an upgrade for us.

I think yours look a lot nicer than the ones currently for sale. I see they're all custom one-off designs, but I like how the L-bend in your outer running/brake lights is shaped the Lexus logo "L" and the 4LS refresh taillights.

I made that same upgrade on my '98. I like how they continue the quad light theme from the headlights when illuminated.

I once read someone say that the pre-refresh 2GS taillights stacked light appearance somewhat resembles the MK4 Jetta's. Seeing that was an almost immediate cue for me to get the '01-05 GS taillights.

I did the 00+ look after owning my car for a year or two . But as my car progressed in modifications and these one offs started hitting the market it was exactly what I needed.

I actually go back and forth on the different oem lights I like the 98-99 style if they’re modified because you just don’t see them often.

I get that a lot yeah I think that’s the whole one off thing and I’m sure different people are making them. I believe the guy that has a set in Cali resembles mine but he’s had them as long as me do possibly they came from the same person.

The tailights listed on JPS look different than the ones you have. Have you seen any other place that sells these?

No, there are no glass headlamps of any kind for the 2GS.

Read 8m6 and I conversation in this thread. I purchased mines through JPS it was 4 years ago they sourced them in Japan and I bought them. They’re one off customs so they don’t all look the same the chances of you finding a exact set like mine are probably slim now. Wish you luck
