Default Door won’t lock

hello,
I have a 2003 Lexus GS 300. When I first got my car i replaced all door actuators because it wouldn’t lock. Recently, I replaced the front passenger door because someone had hit my car. ever since I replaced the door, the open door light on my dash has been on and i can only lock the car with the key in the driver door. If i try to lock it from the inside, all doors become unlocked. The bottom door light of the front passenger door is also not on since I replaced the door. Anyone knows what’s causing this or what i can do to fix it

Who installed the door? Did you provide the door or did a shop locate it for you? If the shop did, they either did not hook up the electricals right, or the connectors were incompatible, or the donor door may have a bad switch as well. Many possibilities. How long has this been going on? The installer needs to know about the issue..

Sounds like your door closed sensor is bad. This sensor is built into the Latch of your door lock actuator (not in the white plastic motor housing you can buy separately).
This can easily be confirmed. On your door lock actuator you have 2 electrical connectors, a large black 6-pin connector and a small grey 2-pin connector. The small 2-pin connector is your door close sensor. Take a paperclip and short the 2 pins on the wire harness. Your door open light on your dash should go out and you should now be able to lock/unlock all your doors from inside.
