Hey do it’s my first time on a forum so I could really use some help. I have a 2001 gs300 and I’m looking to turbo it. I was wondering what I could leave stock on the GE engine and still get around 700 hp. I have a gte block and some other parts like pistons and rods as well as arp head studs.
Would a gte head be better or could a ported ge head work?
I know I would have to change the tranny I was thinking maybe getting an adapter plate and putting a Chevy th400

Reason: Extra info
install the gte block and dont touch it. install the ge head, maybe have it refreshed. have ipt transmissions in new jersey beef up the a650e. DONE!!! its been proven the ge head actually flows better than the gte head. better port spacing and cfm flow rate is better. yes use the arp headstuds since you have them.
Thanks, any other info you may have ? Such as maybe what fuel rail to use and what intake ( ge, gte, or aftermarket)?. Main caps ? And maybe a piggyback ecu as well?
