GS300 Limp mode?
So i replaced my valve cover gaskets on my GS and i checked what needed to be connected.
Started the car and i had a hard time starting it. (oil was in the spark plug wells and I had no way of taking the oil out)
Once I got it to start it idled high... maybe between 1.5k -1.8k
I popped the hood again and noticed some stuff was still unhooked and i put all the stuff back. and I gave it another look to make sure it was all good.
The car makes an electrical noise like something is moving when the accelerator pedal is pressed. sorta like when you press on the brake to switch from Park to Drive.
Everything is stock all I did was replace valve cover gaskets and spark plugs.
Only place that got me some concern was the intake side with most of the vacuum hoses..
Any idea?
I hope I was as good at explaining.
Before all this the car ran great it just needed new valve cover gaskets lol it was brittle af.

Oil in the plug valley can be removed with a rag and compressed air. Spraying some brake or throttle body cleaner fluid would help.
Electrical sound when the accelerator is pressed, that's the throttle control motor. Electronic Throttle Control System or ETCS-i should be stamped on your throttle body.
Idling high is a good indicator of vacuum leaks. Check all of your connections

Well im more or less trying to figure out what went wrong with the TB no activating all the way.. all the wires are hooked up. it all worked fine before the valve cover replacement
