Default Problems :(

Well my 1993 GS300 was shaking a bit on idle and I found out that i had oil in spark plugs. Well I am tomorrow replacing the valve cover gaskets, throttle body gasket and I also need cylinder #6 injector to replace. First major problem besides mounts on my GS300 aproaching 230K miles

Hey, I had the same problem. I just blew compressed air into the spark plug holes to get rid of the oil. The source of the oil was overflow from the oil filler cap. Seems that oil spilled into the valve cover area over the years and ended up in the spark plug holes. She runs great now.

dario, how did the valve cover gasket replacement job go? Was it DIY or did you take it to a shop? I've been putting this one off for too long, I can smell a hint of oil every time I shut off the car. If you had a shop do it, how much? Thanks
