How many miles on your car?. Do you have the service history. Sounds like your transmission on its way out. Try changing the trans fluid and see if that helps.

It does sound like trans, any codes? Do check the fluid level and condition (eng running). But don't waste money doing a flush. Never helps. Once it's done, it's done. Unless you have a specific code for a 1st-2nd shift solenoid or something you can work with. If a fluid flush has never been done, that trans is toast by now and needs replaced or rebuilt.

Nooo codes at all engine runs perfectly fine. The color was pretty dark. I just got the car a couple months ago so i really don't know if the other owner did a trans flush or not.

Try this, let the car idle for about 10 minutes to get fully warmed up then put in gear and see if it drives then. Your trans is likely on its way out. You can try doing a drain and fill and see if it improves, get ready to replace your trans.

I already tried doing that. But I'm going to change out the fluid and see if that does anything
