Default Top Suspension Mount

On my '98 GS300 the right-hand (offside here in the UK) wishbone suspension mount needs replacing.
Is this just a few hours' work or is it more? Will there be any geometry realignment or adjustment required?

Interestingly, the Lexus price for this part is GB £500 inc sales tax (that's US $650). The equivalent from a dependable motor factors is GB £70.

Are you talking about the upper arm or where it mounts to on the car? If you're talking about the arm once the car is up in the air and the wheel is off this shouldn't take more than 30 minutes. The one thing thats hard is getting the bolts out of the bushings in the upper arm. They have to slide in between the gaps in the springs.

It's the upper arm (wishbone) which includes the ball joint. The excessive play is in the ball joint.

Yeah once the wheel is off that should take 30 minutes to change as long as you have a ball joint separator like this. The length of the bolts in the hardest part like I said before.
