Hey I have a fuel issue with my 1999 gs 300 I have change the fuel pump and I have change the efi relay and now the only way the fuel pump gives fuel is wen cranking the engine and it only pours out a tiny bit which is not enough pressure to get to the engine if it struggle to pour out of top of pump please any suggestions.????
The only time the pump runs is when cranking other than when the car is started. How are you quantifying the amount of fuel that the pump is pushing to know it's inadequate?

I don't know how the topirc starter measured this. But the correct way to do this requires installing a fuel line adapter with a pressure gauge. Results should be 44-50 psi.Originally Posted by KyleH

The pump only pushes fuel when cranking, that is normal. If it's only drizzling out, you either have a defective pump, a clogged fuel filter, a disconnected or cracked pickup/module case, or something like that. Did you replace the entire module or just the pump? You also may have left off an O-ring or something too which wouldn't allow it to move much fuel. Most would end up back in the tank. Pull it out and reinspect your work. If all is good, try another pump.
It would be very rare to need to replace the filter, but here is one in case:
