fuel rail removal help

Default fuel rail removal help

Hi all, new here. Im trying to remove my fuel rail on my 1uzfe vvti, passenger side, is there a way to disconnect the fuel pressure regulator? I got everything else off but cant seem to disconnect the regulator so I can pull the rail out. Thanks for the help

You’ll have to remove both sides at once. The line that runs behind the manifold is one piece with the line that feeds the fuel to the rail, and they’re a bugger to undo when installed on the engine. So unbolt the flexible feed line and take them both off. Be careful working them up and out so you don’t damage the ACIS actuator or the heater coolant lines.

thanks for the help, do you kmow where the flex line is? Is it by the firewall or closer to under the car?

you’ll see it where it comes off the rail on the driver side. Threads into the hard line that comes up from the wheel well
