Default JDM grille

I have the JDM grille and was wondering if you guys think I should paint the mesh black or leave it like it is. I put the L on the grille but I think I am going to remove that. Let me know what you guys think. I would also like to find the same mesh for the opening in the win kit. Any ideas?

Post a picture, it'll be easier to visualize what might look best.

I say try it like it is for awhile, then paint it later when you get tired of it.

Ok, here is a pic of it. I dont really like the silver on silver look. I think the mesh being black would look better.

Also does anyone know where I can get mesh that matches the mesh in the grille? I want to put the same mesh in the opening of my win kit. any other suggestions for this large opening?

hey rich

if i was you i would do the grill mesh in low gloss black paint , nice contrast to the silver you have as far as the L sym , i would attach it in a way that depending on your mood wear it one week and without another

just my 1 penny

thanks lex. I think I am going to get rid of the L all togethor. I think it would look cleaner without it. I am swaying heavily towards painting the mesh black. I think that would help to highlight the grille a little more.

The fitment is perfect. No problems at all. The color match is a little off. I dont know if the silver is different in japan, but it was off by a couple of shades. Im not worried about that because I will have the whole deal repainted when my kit goes on.

I dont think the kit comes with anything for the center opening. I guess I could ask steve. I think if I could find mesh to match the grill that would be best. I dont want to leave that big opening open. I could always put a tranny cooler there that looks like an intercooler
