Default Temperature gauge, what is normal?

For all the GS300 owners, where does your temperature gauge needle sit when engine is at normal operating temperature? Just wondering because I was told mine might be a little high and it's sitting just a little past the 2nd tick mark right in the middle.

Mine stays right in the middle when warm. If your temp is starting to get high start with checking some of the basic things like checking coolant level and making sure radiator and a/c condenser is free of debris

Mine sits right under the middle mark most of the time. Never really see it go past that, even on really hot days.

I think it's the same for GS400....mine is just past the 2nd tick mark as well. It looks a little high but if you look closely the middle mark is actually a bit below the middle (using the gas gauge as reference)

I had two gs300, 1998 and 2001 first 98 one temp was little below middle, and 2001 sits right in middle. I swaped engine from 2001 to 1998 car and now it shows temp in middle. I think it has something to do with temp sensor.
