Default Help: New Motor Starter, but same problem as old starter

I hope the vast number of experts on this board can help me out with my 03' GS300 motor starter problem or perhaps advise if it may be some other electrical issue.

My wife's car motor starter had the typical "clicking" sound and would not start the car. I replaced the motor starter with a new unit (TYC from Rock Auto). Along with changing out the starter I also installed new spark plugs, ignition coils, plug wires, PCV valve and Bank1, Sensor 1 O2 sensor and thoroughly cleaned the throttle body. After completing all the work started the car and she fired up just fine and I let it run for about 10-15 minutes, while I looked under the hood to make sure all looked good and no issues, also while the car was running I checked the battery voltage (12.7 VDC) and alternator output voltage (13.5 VDC) to make sure these items were not an issue since they are interrelated to the electrical system.

Shut the car down and took a lunch break. I then drained the transmission fluid and disconnected the return fluid line to do a quick fill with fresh fluid. Then the problem began, when I tried to start the car the 2nd time I got the dreaded "click, click, click and the car would not start, it's like I hadn't replaced the starter at all. I checked the starter and main engine relays to see if they were a problem and they appeared fine, but I replaced them both anyway, just to be sure and I also checked the power cable to the starter for continuity and there is no problem with the cable connection.

I am at a lost of what to trouble-shoot to find the problem, could a new starter crap out after one time? If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate the help and advise to get my GS running again.

Check the battery cables for voltage drop to make sure they are in good shape.

Mr. Jokster, thanks for the quick reply.

Can you provide the points where I am checking the voltage? and what would the lowest voltage reading be to indicate an issue? Please assume I am a novice when it comes to automobile electrical related issues.

Thanks

I'd check at the starter too.

If you don't get any bad readings with the above test, try the same test while cranking. The jolt from the crank could be enough to break a cable loose from good connection.

Thanks for the help. I will perform this work in the morning and hope to find the problem.

The video describes what I am experiencing, I hope it is a simple fix as shown.

I love Club Lexus and the great people. Thanks so much for your help.
