rx300 would not start with security light blinking

my 2002 rx300 would not start after I tried to fix a broken key. The security light blinking even without key insert???

The security light should blink until you insert the key from my recollection. The security light is related to the engine immobilizer. Also this is the wrong section. This is the 2nd gen GS forum
