Default Drive line issues??!?

So I upgraded to a Lexus from civics ! Must say best desion I've made ..... minus my issues! I bought care from a friend who passed away in witch rear k frame broke! He replaced kframe before he passed but didt have it on road ! Before k frame broke no issues it sat 2 years I had to re wire abs ! Now I've been driving now and then for a month and have a major vibration between 55 and 70 and it gose away until I start to slow down above 70 ! It loves highway but wore threw both rear tires in the centre? My vsc light is on and speedometer olny works randomly? Thinking it's trackson control related but civics don't have senors issues because there go karts

Do a search either here or on google on front end vibrations, you'll find a million threads on it. No its not a driveline issue because you'd feel it at any speed. Could be many things, you need to be more descriptive in your searches on where you feel the vibrations, not when you feel them. Could be ball joints, tie rods, wheel bearings (which I believe) and any other suspension component.

As for the tires, if they're worn in the "centre" (which I assume means center", all that means is that they're over inflated, use the guide on the door seal for proper inflation instructions.

Over the years I’ve tried just about everything and there is still a slight shimmer. However, when I got new rotors and a fresh rotation/balance that seemed to work for a while. You didn’t mention how many miles but ball joints are a problem on the 2GS so have those checked as well. Usually it’s a combination of things but after 18 years I’ve learned to live with it lol.

I would not advise buying a 2GS with known (or unknown) problems. While these are wonderful cars the repairs are not cheap. Usually if something sounds too good (or too cheap) to be true it usually is.

If it's wearing only in the middle. Is the tire pressure too high?
Has the car been to an alignment shop? Anytime you get major suspension work done. It should be followed by a visit to an alignment shop.
