I wasn't sure where to post this up but I'll do it here anyways...

Does/did anyone have a problem with their dashboard surface bubbling up?
I recently noticed mines doing it last night. Its right by where the dash outline of the airbag is (passenger side). I know my friend had the same trouble with his dash but his was more noticeable (over the gauge cluster). He has a 2000 ES 300 platinum edition. My car is a 2000 GS 400. So just wondering if anyone else came across this issue? I'm taking mines in for a warranty claim on Monday. i'll post the response from the dealer. Lates!

 

The dash will have to come out. It usually takes about 1 week to get the dash in and labor about 1 day. Check all your switchs when you get it back. Sometimes the tech plug it in the wrong place. Good luck with the repair.

I had to have my dash replaced last year for a similar problem. I was worried about getting rattles after the replacement, since they had to remove and re-install lots of parts. Thankfully, one year later, and no probems.
