You didn't have to sand the primered coat any did you? I'm going to have to do this now for the hell of it! Got an old chrome grill sitting around waiting to get VADERIZED :P
BTW -- You need to come down to AU again so we can take some pics!

Hmmm, me personally...I didn't even do a primer coat I just sanded the surface a bit and put the glossy black paint on directly. Did a few coats and then sanded a bit. put on another coat...and then applied two coats of clearcoat....I'll let ya guys know how good it stands up. I travel the highway everyday to get to work.

Yup, I did that about a year ago, after I saw yours.....I gave it about 8 coates of high gloss "high-heat" paint, and about another 5 of clear coat.......If I didnt black it out, I would have never used the stock grill again.....pretty good little mod. Now I switch back and forth between it and my L-Sportline........
