Is200 year 2000. Engine Oil to use

I just purchased an Lexus IS200 year model 2000. I don't know what engine oil he used. Can I use a 20W-50 or a 15W-40 oil which I have on stock at the moment instead of a 10W-30 oil?

The owner's manual for almost every single car has a guide for what engine oils are appropriate, usually with options for various climates. The standard weight is also indicated on the original oil filler cap.
