Default Vsc/abs/Vsc off lights on :(

hey guys(and girls?)
i recently purchased a 98 gs400
when I accelerate hard or corner hard, my vsc off/vsc and abs lights illuminate. If I shut the car off and restart they remain off until triggered again by hard acceleration or hard cornering.
i found a previous thread on this forum that suggested that it may be low brake fluid sloshing and disrupting the sensors.
the brake fluid was on the lower side but within the min/max levels.
i topped the fluid up, the issue is still persisting.
any other suggestions 😐

Any guesses provided are just that and, like adding more fluid when not needed, will waste time and money. Find a way to get the Engine and ABS system scanned for codes and then report back for some suggestions

It's time to replace your brake booster/abs/master cylinder lol 3 in 1 combo very easy to replace the unit takes about 1 hour in and out

Are you ready to spend 1000s of USD without a proper diagnosis? GITAdriver, you were kidding, right??

Broken engine mount opens a tear in accordion hose creating lean condition! lol
Seriously tho, you may need to look at Freeze Frame Data...

I have what seems to be the same problem as the OP (also a new owner of '99 GS400). Mine has no codes (was kind of surprised given its at 244k and cosmetically untidy). Brake fluid is not low.

Did you use a scan tool capable of scanning the ABS/VSC brake system for codes? Its not the same module and codes as the OBDII (engine) codes most consumer grade (inexpensive) scan tools are limited to.

Aaah, no I did not. Checked my Torq app for error codes.
Anyone in Phoenix got a scanner? I'll buy you a beer

PS. Thanks Debonair
