Default Scale Model GS

Does anyone know where I can find some nice diecast models of the GS? I have the 1:18 autoart, and it's great. I saw that Jada makes a 1:24 scale tuner version. Are there any other ones out there worth considering? I'm trying to decorate my office with GS models all around.

If you don't mind doing a little tinkering, there's the radio-controlled model. Saw it in one of Christmas TV ads -- looks like a 1:10 scale. Think of the memo's you could deliver via RC Lexus! I think Tamiya makes them.

Thumbs up Tamiya GS400

I purchased the Tamiya Lexus GS400 radio-controlled car kit about a year ago.:

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXRK09&P=7

It's based on their TL-01 four wheel-drive chassis. I haven't had the time to finish putting all of the decals on the body yet. It's an excellent first-timer's kit, and comes complete with everything except the radio/servo electronics.

From the appearance of the wheels, I believe that this is the black R/C GS400 that was in the holiday season commercials.

that's a pretty good price on that tamiya model. i might just get that. add the 2-channel controller with 2 servos and it's under $150. not a bad price at all. and it's 4WD, hahaha

I've got quite a few at home. I have 3 out of the 4 Autoart ones plus some smaller ones. Autoart made a black GS400, a silver GS400, a black Aristo (right hand drive) and a silver Aristo (right hand drive) 1:18 scale model. I have a bunch of smaller die cast models in various colors and also the Jada ones in both colors. I picked up most of them on eBay. I'll try to remember take a pic of all them and post it up.

Tamiya sells excellent electric and gas-powered sedan model cars. Some of their RTR (ready to run) models can come as high as $350, buts it well worth the investment. Other radio controlled model kits that you might want to consider are the Traxxas Nitro 4-Tec (www.traxxas.com) or the Associated T3's (www.teamassociated.com). The radio control market is quite big these days and I'm sure that you would be able to find any manufactured, 1:10 size body for the model u prefer to buy....anything from Honda's to Lexus.

Thanks for all the help guys. All this information should keep me busy for a little while. I'm hoping that hotwheels or muscle machines come out with a 1/18the scale model soon. I bought my gf the 1/18 muscle machine of her RSX and it looks great.

Just type in "1:18 GS" into the search window on ebay and you'll come across a bunch of GS400s made by AutoArt... they usually sell for right at 40 bucks, which is realistic since AutoArt is on the higher end of car model producers.

I think they make black, silver, and white.
