Hey guys, quick question. Assuming all of the info in this ad is correct, do you think this 2003 GS 300 is worth $3,800?
https://lasvegas.craigslist.org/cto/...207759491.html

I know next to nothing about cars, so any input at all is greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your time!

Without knowing more details I would say NO!
Go to KBB or NADA to see comps.
What options does it have? How is it aesthetically? How is the paint holding on in the AZ sun? Or, has it been painted? Do you have service records?
It's a 12 y.o car. With that mileage the timing belt should have been changed twice --at 90,000 & 180,000 miles-- and spark plugs at 125,000 miles. Is it a city or highway car? What intervals have been followed for oil changes? What about transmission and differential fluids? How is the suspension and all of it's components? What about the brakes? Has it lived in snow?
If parts have been replaced, are they aftermarket or OEM? Where has it been serviced? Dealership or Joe Blow's garage that knows nothing about our cars?
The ad says, "The millage is high, but it runs like a clock". Does his mean that it will only run right twice a day?

I'd also say no. That dent is pretty nasty, its not easy to make a hole like that in a poly bumper. I'd like to know what accident he may have been in that hes not speaking of that would require him to buy a new passenger headlamp as well. The hood isnt lining up with the passenger headlamp either. I think that dent came from a pretty good impact and was just popped out. I say look under the hood and behind that bumper for more damage. I believe that impact is what took out that passenger headlamp and misaligned that hood or radiator support.
