Thanks gentlemen. I've made my decision and going with new denso 35w ballasts and the Osram CBI setup. Should be plenty enough for me.

Btw where can I get the clear lenses for the ls460? I'm looking but can't find any for the projectors.

I'm not sure if I remember correctly but, I think the Subaru Sti clear lenses are the ones that work with ls460's. Check out TheRetrofitSource and hid planet.

So I followed some videos on YouTube tonalign my headlights. Car was on, parked level and 25ft away. I raised them so that that the highest point of the beam would be lower than an oncoming car's side view mirrors. Couldn't really adjust them horizonally for some reason. Maybe this "feature" is rendered useless when doing a retrofit?

Man it looks clean. Can't wait to do mine and I'll definitely keep in mind about the adjustments.

In the second pic closer to the garage, you can kind of see how the two "steps" in the light aren't very far apart. The videos said that the two steps should be the same distance apart as they are on your car.

what do you mean by the same distance? Like they have to be aligned perfectly or near as perfect together?

Pull your car as close to the wall as you can and place a piece of tape directly in front of each projector. When you back up to 25ft, you want the step of each beam pattern to line up with the corresponding pieces of tape. Basically you need to adjust them horizontally. Right now they're angled to far toward the center of the car. Hope that all makes sense lol.

Lol I thought you meant putting tape on the headlights but I get what you're saying. Thanks again!
