Unfortunately it sounds like you adjusted the aiming screw to the point where it separated from the mounting bracket. Do you have the Luxury Mods mounting brackets? Same thing happened to me while I was adjusting mine. I was able to remove the bulb and reach in and lift the bracket up to thread the adjustment screw back in.

I'm not sure as I bought the retros from a guy in Dallas. He's actually a member here, but not active. I'm gonna try to remove that rear cap and see if I can reach in like you suggested. Hoping I don't have to take it all apart.

When looking at the back of the headlight, does turning clockwise raise or lower the light? I'm afraid to mess with any of the other dials now lol.

Here are some images i quickly got from Google for reference for you or anyone else that wants to or needs to adjust the headlight. Shouldn't the screws be adjusted with just quarter turns?

Are they? Cause I was just going at it with the screwdriver trying to get the beam to readjust right/left and up/down lol. Quarter turns would take forever it seems, but maybe mine were just completely out of whack.

Yeah it takes quite a few turns to get it to move, even a little bit. It's been a couple years since I messed with my lights but, I think you can get to the vertical adjuster with a 8mm socket. It'll go much quicker than a screw driver lol.

Yeah the vertical adjuster is more accessible than the horizontal ones. Those have like a channel that you insert a long screwdriver into in order to adjust. And it looks like the fix is to just pop the ball joint back into place. I gotta get to it by removing the cap on the backside. I'll report back once I try it tonight. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Update*

So as I was doing research on the retro setup, I came across a FS ad on here that was selling a quad projector retrofit setup. I always wanted the quad setup so I jumped on it. Thanks DreamGS4 for the retrofits!

Didn't really like the black chrome housing and led strip so I did some surgery along with my eBay OE gs300 headlight replacements I ordered for the clear lens and chrome housing.
Ebay OE replacements Baked all four headlights and swaped over the chrome housings. Excuse the mess on the table.
Added the lens. The led strip was left out.
Completed. Purchased brand new bulbs for low and high beams.
Installed on my raggedy GS lol.
Low beams on. Lens was dirty from install. Cleaned them up after.

The cut off line is amazing. Will never go back to halogens.

So now I'm in the process of setting up the quad projector setup and I'm real excited about that. Also had some time to kill before I get into my studies so I tried to fit the LS460 projectors on the eBay housings for the original setup I was going to do and I might just go and do these as well LOL.

Thanks for viewing! I want to give a big thanks to this community! Take it easy...
