Default Single cylinder misfire Only at idlel?

My car started to have a misfire issue thats driving me nuts... when im at idle i can feel the misfire, the check engine flashes and its starting to get very annoying.. right when i get on the gas it seems to run fine, lots of power and the car runs just fine.. not to mention the flashing check engine light goes away and doesnt start flashing until im at my next traffic light for more then a minute.

so my first thought was to change the spark plugs.. i did that and still have the stupid misfire. Second thought was the coil is bad.. so i switch my #1 coil with my # 3 coil to see if the misfire would change to #1 but still no luck.. now i added a good 2 bottles of fuel injector cleaner and still no difference.

What should i do next?? Take out injector to see if its clogged? Compression check?? Why does everything run fine when im on the gas but at idle im having a problem and why in just one 1 cylinder?? If your standing in front of the car cylinder 3 is the second cylinder on the driver side right?? Is there anything i can try before i check the cylinder compression and hope thats not the problem . Anyone ever had a similar issue??

How about checking for a vacuum leak.
Make sure your intake tube from air filter to throttle body is intact...

Good luck.

It really could be a variety of things I would get a scanner and see if there are any pending codes and that won't necessarily light up your check engine light.... then you can really start diagnosing based off that
