Default Engine Misfire

On my way to work yesterday I was stopped at a stop light, and when I went to accelerate again all of a sudden my engine starting misfiring BADLY, it felt like one cylinder was consistently not firing at all. So I limped it home and have been doin some diag but haven't come up with anything conclusive. Today I started the car up and at the high idle on cold start it doesn't misfire at all, but then when it warms up a little it starts to misfire randomly, as if when it starts to hit closed loop it begins to misfire. Also on the drive home yesterday it would misfire very badly from idle to about 3000rpm then after 3000rpm it seemed to smooth out. So my thoughts are: coil, ignition control module, ecu, or maybe even 02 sensors?

I recently changed the spark plugs and plug wires, am about to change the cap and rotor to see if that clears it up at all, and hopefully throw a new ignition coil on there as well.

But does anyone else have any ideas as to why this sudden misfire may be occurring. Or has anyone had any similar problems and fixed them with certain parts / tuning?

ps. as a final thought, could my TPS possibly be misadjusted and cause an issue like this?
