So I know the most popular swap is the 2jzgte and after that would be a lsx. But has any one done a Mustang gt 99-04 engine swap. I know stock can handle about 500hp. Anything over you will need to swap internals. I think a cobra can handle about 700 is important not mistaken. I know the Mustang engine line is cheaper but it's a ford...fix on the regular daily lol

 

if you were thinking about going the 1uz vvti and trans route, it would probably be cheaper just to buy a 98-00 SC400 and selling your old car. It would probably be more cost efficient and less problems. This of course depends on how much work you have into your existing car. You'd also be getting the 98 aero updates and updated cluster design.
