Default Weird noise please help.

So I’m hearing this weird squealing, rattling, whistling type of noise that’s leading me to think it’s coming from a leaking exhaust or my serpentine belt is going out it’s hard to identify where exactly the noise is coming from sometimes it sounds like under the car some days sounds like under the hood and other days it sounds like my front tires.

However, when I start the car there is no noise. The noise only comes when my RPMS are between 1000-2000 and only while the car is under 40mph. If I’m parked and rev or driving and put it in neutral and rev there is no noise. Does anyone have any idea what could cause this?

The drive shaft and axles turn while moving. Not idling. If it's only while moving and under certain rpm/speed conditions then you can safely jack up the rear end, block the front wheels, and have a helper run the car in drive while you listen for noises underneath (have to turn off traction control to do this). You may have something scraping against a shaft, or some kind of bearing u-joint issue. Or noise from the trans or diff.

If no noises are heard, jack up the front end and do a basic shake down on the front wheels to see if anything feels loose and about to come apart. You can also (with the engine off) tug on your drive belt to see if the tenssioner is weak. Should be pretty tight and hard to move.
