hello fellow GS lovers....

i just received a pair of Junction Produce tail lights from japan..
Red with Clear bottom turn signal..they are made by the same co that produce OEM lights for toyota/lexus.

and i will try to post some pics later on...(sorry i am not too tech savvy)

 

Damn, I'm going to bed now.
I will just have to wait 24hrs.

i'm dying 2 c them..........why can't someone the states try it and than sell them here, lots of money would b made....especialy since the 2nd gen gs has been out now 4 like 6 yrs and will b out 4 looks like another 2 . theirs so many out thier evrywhere u turn now.

I can't believe that this is what it costs to get a set of aftermarket taillights here (in the U.S.). Is it the exchange rate that makes them so expensive? What is the price of the set in Japanese yen? Is it just the fact that they have to ship from Japan that make them expensive? It's hard to believe in this day and age that it wouldn't be easy to get something like this, even from halfway across the world.

If I could find a way to import these at a reasonable price, I'd make a killing! $$$!

 

it additional to the high quality of the product(which i wouldn't doubt at all), it could be just another commodity that targets and exploits this particular culture of enthusiasts.

jacob/ dave...they cost (not me) an arm and a leg..($1350 to be exact)...

as i said, even in japan, JP rarely discount their items..so at JPY 135,000 = ~US$ 1250/set before all the shipping +fees...bascailly JP is marketing their quality stuff at prices similar to items like Frank M watches, Chanel bags..Canali suits, Bruno Mali shoes, you know, the ultimate name brands
