2001 GS430 CEL P0301 and P0308 After Knock sensor replacement
I replaced the knock sensors (no more P0325 and P0330) this weekend but am now getting CEL with P0301, P0308 error codes. Misfire on cylinders 1 and 8.
I also replaced the MAF sensor.
Checked the wiring, clips and connections and all looks normal.
I also changed the oil, because when I checked the oil there was too much oil so I drained it and put fresh oil in (5.5qts). Would too much oil cause the coils to cause this issue?
was not having this issue prior to knock sensor replacements.
I removed the intake in one piece, so didn't have to remove the fuel rail.

I did use OEM sensors. I have yet to get the p0325 or p0330 codes.
I'm going to switch the coil pack from cylinder 8 with cylinder 5 to see if the behavior follows to #5, if it does then I'm sure it's the coil pack. If not, then i'll have to look at the injector or harness clip.

Yeah, I'm not sure. I had my knock sensors done at the dealer (pricey to be sure) but haven't had a problem since. Keep us posted on what you find out.
